Alice Cogin
Alice has spent the past decade crafting standout work across film, advertising, and immersive experience. As a longtime creative force within Australia's renowned collective The Glue Society, her fingerprints can be found on everything from award-winning commercials to subversive art installations and large-scale experiential activations. In late 2024, she stepped out on her own, bringing her bold creative instincts and sharp storytelling into exciting new collaborations with agencies and brands.
Blending strategic thinking with a strong visual sensibility, Alice approaches each project not just as a director, but as an experienced writer and creative. Her process is rooted in the power of the idea—writing, art directing, and directing in a way that ensures every decision strengthens the concept at its core.
Alice’s directing career began with a win in a global writing and directing competition, which led to her directing The Wire’s Dominic West in her debut short film The Finish Line. Since then, she has directed campaigns for Uber Eats (Australian Open Ambush), the Shift20 Initiative with Dylan Alcott, and a series of visually daring, idea-led commercials for some of the world’s most iconic brands.
